Another excellent project recently completed by TCRC in the education sector is Ashcombe Primary School in Weston-super-Mare. Here we were selected by main contractors @John Perkins Construction to deliver the roof waterproofing works on a major new extension and sports hall that were being built.

The specification for this project included over 2,000m2 of Vieo zinc standing seam roofing which was expertly installed by TCRC’s Operatives. In addition we installed approximately 180m2 of Fatra single ply waterproofing, including a specially designed tapered insulation to ensure optimal thermal and drainage efficiency.

Works took place in a live teaching environment, so safe working practices were essential at all times, along with considerate construction in order not to disrupt either the school or the local community.

This was a highly successful project thanks to outstanding workmanship, high standards of health & safety and exceptional collaboration by all parties. The result has been a greatly enhanced teaching, administrative and sporting facility for pupils, teachers and the local community to enjoy!
